H. Gillerman Organics is an extension of 25 years helping people resolve stress-related mind/body issues.

As a young dancer, I suffered from a recurrent back injury. For relief, I turned to the holistic healing arts—noninvasive therapies that treat the body as a whole. When I resolved my injury, I became a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique, a 100-year-old wellness method that is highly effective for back injury, chronic pain, computer-related injuries and stress.

Later, as an experienced professional dealing with increased everyday stresses and pressures, I was drawn to the healing power of essential oils. Soon I was developing my own holistic remedies and incorporating them into my New York City practice. My students chose the remedies to complement a range of stress-relieving activities such as yoga, exercise and meditation.

To fine-tune my blends, I turned to the 3,000-year-old system of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which incorporates essential oils. I studied under a master teacher, also a Taoist Monk, who taught me to take into account the underlying conditions that affect our health, including weather, climate and stress.

I developed the H. Gillerman Organics line as a resource for optimal health. These products will help you deepen your breathing, relax your muscles, improve your sleep, adjust to climate and temperature changes, lift your spirits and sharpen your focus.

The H. Gillerman Organics gold logo symbolizes the alchemical art of blending to create unity and harmony.

What are essential oils?
Essential oils are the most concentrated extracts plants can yield. For example, it takes roughly one ton of rose petals to make a 10-ounce bottle of rose essential oil. They heal with their scent, affecting our mood and evoking memories that can transport us. But essential oils offer far more than their aromas—they stimulate the body’s natural healing process.

Why does purity matter?
Pure means straight from the plant, without chemical alteration. When an essential oil is processed for mass production, the oil is degraded, reducing the benefits. At H. Gillerman Organics, we don’t use processed oils or imitation fragrance. We use only the highest quality, undiluted, unaltered organic and wild-crafted* essential oils, sourced from all over the world.

What we put on our skin goes into our bodies. To keep our products pure, we don’t add harmful ingredients like petrochemicals, sulfates, parabens or chemical preservatives.

What is Traditional Chinese Medicine?
The ancient practice of Chinese Medicine is based on the concept that optimal health requires balanced and flowing Qi—our innate life force and vitality. Healing with essential oils has been part of this profound treatment paradigm for more than 1,000 years.
